Her name is Luzia and before she lost her vision her grandmother gave her two mettalfigures from KINDER EGG, she just loved them. After she lost her vision she until loves these metallfigures, but now she needs then because they are the only toys that she can recognizes with her touch / tact. The site is amazing! My 4 year old son Chris thinks it is just great. I didn't realize the scope of these kinder surprise toys as collectibles. I've always collected them only because I liked them and it has been about 18? years. I started to collect a few pieces (which have since been lost) since my dad owned a variety store back in the early eighties. Back then they were such a novelty and now look at them. My kids just love them. The oldest ones I have are only ten years old but none are metal. When were the first metal kindersurprise toys introduced? Yours truly, Juliet.
